Fathers 4 Justice Canada
Yellowknife, NT, Canada
I stand with you today, in a peaceful non - violent protest, as I fight for the rights to end the abuse against men. I point to section 4 of the "charter of rights and freedoms" of all Canadians, and chose this and other forums to bring forward issues affecting men in the Northwest Territories.
In 2003 Richard Lowe committed suicide.
In 2004 Glenn Alexander committed suicide.
Both were victims of emotional, financial and allegations of abuse
Both these brave men championed for their cause, remained frustrated, beaten and left out in the cold. How many more have died without my or your knowledge?
Moira Cameron has recently written this attached letter to the editor, filled with allegations of abuse that point directly to me, based on UN - tested and UN - substantiated evidence. Moira Cameron failed to point, that two police cruisers follow this March, and NO abuse took place during last years March.
Good people good faith, it is ten times more likely that this letter to the editor will fall on the lap of the custodial parents of my children. How do you think a Supreme Court Judge is going to react when he or she reads that I, the father of two boys is scaring, stalking, and frightening protesters in Yellowknife.
Moira Cameron has intervened with the relationship my family could and should be having with our lost boys, and has set my family back another two years.
My Mother is now 72 years old, and will die without showing the capacity of nurturing her very own Grand - Children.
Moira Cameron has no right to make allegations of abuse against me, and certainly has no right to intervene with the relationships my family could and should be having with our lost loved ones.
Stop this abuse against men, and shame, shame, shame on those here today who may continue this Domestic Violence.
Moira Cameron, I expect nothing short of a letter of apology to the newspaper.
Over the years my family and I have learned to identify behaviours, we feel it ten times more likely that more will follow Ms. Cameron's actions, in hopes of ganging - up on me as I continue my fight for justice and equality, for all citizen's of the NWT. For the sake of our children we hope we are wrong.
Today, I stand strong, and protest in silence, bowing my head in shame.
