August 29th 2005 Montréal, Qc - Motion for a Men's Day in Montreal

Some fathers of Fathers-4-Justice were getting together in front of the City House of Montreal to show their support to the municipal adviser Jean-Frangois Plante. Animated by a strong determination, M. Plante stand up in the city council to defend his values and suggest a Men's Day.

After the feminist arrival, the situation got less easy. Some of them provoqued pacific fathers, trying to get them becoming violent.

They even blocked the Papa t'aime boards enough to request the police intervention to protect the fathers from the feminist assaults who are accusing all men of violent behavior.

Late by nigth, the city concilor Jean-Frangois Plante was invited to debate that question at the TQS TV show along with M. Yves Pageau from Fathers-4-Justice and the well known Gilles Proulx and the feminist Johanne Fontaine. The arguments brougth by feminists to reject the request for a Men's Day did not appealed any interrest. A desperate Mme Fontaine falled into harsh personal attack against M. Pageau. On his side M. Pageau staed calm and respectful under that shower of bad words, explaining the reality of fathers situations.

Quebec fathers movement encompass many groups including Fathers-4-Justice, L'Après-Rupture, the Égalitariste movement, the Father's Condition Concertation Table and the Coalition pour la Défense des Droits des Hommes du Québec. In the upcomming weeks, F4J expect to reveal to the public troubling evidences enable to compromize the confidence of the public in the corrupted justice system in Quebec, an institution controled by la Fédération des Femmes du Quebec, which is keen to fraud, lies and public founding detournement.
