F4J Canada in Action

November 10, 4 PM 2005 Yellowknife, QC - Across the street from "Cold Ethel's"
- P.M. on site location for new feature film "P.M. returns"
Thursday November 10th at 4 pm. marking the "Open House" invitation.

Oh what a landmark event, while on site location for the new hit movie, "PLYWOODMAN, returns" In Hollywood fashion, secret agent "Superman", was able to aquire a suprise super - sonic PLYMOBILE, and P.M. was wisked up-town at three thirty p.m., and un-loaded a puzzle in an alley.

We began to piece the puzzle together, but had mistaken our drill bit. We stacked - up the puzzle, took a union break, and put the PLYMOBILE into overdrive speeding for the secret finished basement.

With proper tools in hand, we snaped together a 12' X 8' billboard, painted black, with a rather large purple hand, and 32" white letters, that reads: "JUSTICE IS COMING"

Secret agent "Cookies" showed - up, so we shifted our position directly accross the street of "Cold Ethel's"

open house invitation, and at 4 P.M., PLYWOODMAN climbed a three foot ladder, as the doors opened for the "open house" gala.

With the stregth of a thousand sheets of PLYWOOD, P.M. managed to hold the sign, while secret agent "Cookies" took photo's.

Secret agent Superman returned, wearing his favourite baseball cap, so P.M. sent him inside.

Secret agent "2 X 6" was the last to arrive, and offered an eight foot ladder. Now well perched above his billboard, P.M. first noted "Cold Ethel" waving from accross the street, as her assitants called it in. Secret agent 2 X 6 snapped another photo of P.M. waving back.

MLA Bill Braden arrived with a friendly "hello" and agreed to strike.

With Superman now indoors, the R.C.M.P. were next to arrive. Their set stated charge pointed to a fifty meter restriction so P.M. orally corrected their set stated charge. They called in the file, as P.M. held his ground. Now desperate to remove P.M., they referred to safety issues, pointing to size and requested P.M. to decend.

P.M. kept them busy for a while, nattering this and that, pointing to Superman, and the like. The R.C.M.P., now frustrated, insisted that P.M. go...

P.M. complied, noted he will return, as Superman arrived, and we shifted the billboard back to the alley with two officers in tow. Now hearing the five O'clock bells, the Police left as we started to dismantle the billboard.

We packed it up and chuckled all the way home.....

One hour of fun, and Superman, is meeting with "Cold Ethel" on Saturday.

Special thanks to secret agent "Cookies, and 2 X 6" and to Surperman.....We rocked.

In solidarity,

P.M.
