May 2012 be marked as the year our Government put the Emotional and Mental needs of our Children before the needs of our Divorce Industry by simultaneously introducing Equal Parenting, Mandatory Mediation and Parenting Programs for all cases of divorce or separation in Canada.

Were off to a good start with my MP, Dr. Kellie Leitch who has written Minister Nicholson requesting he meet with me to discuss Family Law Reforms, as well as MP, Blake Richards who has written Minister Nicholson urging him to consider a Government Bill on Equal Parenting...

Let's make this a reality by asking all MP’s to write to Justice Minister Nicholson, asking him to consider presenting a Government Equal Parenting Bill to reform the Divorce Act. The Canadian Equal Parenting Council would work with him and the government to achieve the outcomes for children and parents that Parliament intends, and the intents of Conservative policy.

We are seeking more MPs in the current parliament who can “champion” this issue to the caucus, to Justice and to Parliament so that this long standing problem is fixed. I would hope that all MP’s would consider being a key member of our team of “champions”, such as MP, Dr. Kellie Leitch for Simcoe-Grey and MP, Blake Richards for Wild Rose.
